Volunteer Therapy Hours to Assist Alienated Fathers


Support Fathers Rights is seeking volunteer assistance to help fathers in need.

Volunteer Therapists:

We are in need of therapists to provide services to alienated fathers. Even if it is (1) hour per month, every bit helps.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide an intake process for at-risk alienated parents and children to guide them through the challenges of parental alienation.
  • 1 hour per month minimum commitment desired



Qualifications

  • Commitment towards supporting equal rights for parents with an emphasis on treatment to prepare for reunification
  • Family Therapy experience ideally
  • Parental Alienation specialization experience a bonus
  • Men's mental health experience a bonus

Volunteer Grant Writers:


We are dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being among men. in combating parental alienation. We believe in breaking the stigma surrounding men's mental health and providing support, resources, and education to help men thrive emotionally and psychologically.

We are seeking Grants Writers to join our team and play a vital role in securing funding to support our programs and initiatives focused on men's mental health. The Grants Writer will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and managing the grant application process.

Responsibilities:
- Research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other sources that align with our organization's mission and goals.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate our organization's mission, programs, and impact.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals, including program outcomes and budgetary information.
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including submission, follow-up, and reporting requirements for awarded grants.
- Build and maintain relationships with grant funders, including providing regular updates on program outcomes and impact.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in the field of men's mental health and grant funding opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in a relevant field such as English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in grant writing and securing funding from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and persuasive grant proposals.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate grant opportunities that align with our organization's mission and goals.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple grant applications and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of men's mental health issues and a passion for promoting mental health and well-being among men is preferred.
